The banquets at the Duke’s court

On the packaging of Giardini Balsamic Vinegar stands the so-called Palazzina dei Giardini, part of the Duke’s palace of Modena, that Francesco I d’Este chose in the seventeenth century as an entertainment place for the Este court and designed by the architect Vigarani. It is a symbol of Modena and its cultural and gastronomic opulence, of which Balsamic vinegar is the most typical exponent.

In the scenic setting of the Dukes’ Palazzina dei Giardini, lively banquets were held, the atmosphere of which is found today in this line of vinegars and balsamic specialties inspired by the tradition and produced following the authentic recipe of Modena.

The ancient black gold in contemporary kitchen

The black gold of Modena is the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar made of cooked grape must only, aged in barrels of different woods (oak, cherry, chestnut, juniper, ash, acacia, and mulberry) for at least 12 years: a precious elixir which requires time and expertise to turn into a unique and inimitable excellence.

Giardini combines this ancient tradition with innovative creations: a rich array of gastronomic products which perfectly pair with the modern cooking trends, providing new incredible shades of flavours. Discover all the line and enjoy the unexpected pairings with meat, fish, vegetables and even desserts. Want to know more about this one-of-a-kind product?
